Del mismo modo que la serpiente va mudando su piel, para renovarse, para ser otra y la misma, en su andar va dejando una marca, una \u201cescritura realizada con su cuerpo\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>He tomado la imagen de la serpiente, (temida en algunas culturas y adorada en otras) en defensa de Lilith,\u00a0la mujer serpiente, conocedora de los secretos, tentando a la nueva madre de la humanidad (seg\u00fan la versi\u00f3n religiosa tradicional). En realidad la supuesta ca\u00edda en el pecado es el argumento que el patriarcado inventa para sojuzgar a la mujer, mediante la herramienta del vergonzoso sentimiento de culpa. La humanidad no sufre por poseer el conocimiento sino por carecer de \u00e9l.\u00a0 Frente a la mujer dominada y sometida por el Hombre y su Dios, la ind\u00f3mita Lilith se rebela, reivindicando su igualdad y libertad. Cuando \u00e9sta se le deniega Lilith abandona a sus dominadores y deambula buscando forzadamente un poder y un conocimiento que la redima. Es la reflexi\u00f3n en soledad lo que la despierta y activa su coraz\u00f3n<br \/>\npara iniciar la b\u00fasqueda del conocimiento.<\/p>\n<p>La Lilith no como s\u00edmbolo del mal, sino como poseedora de una sabidur\u00eda que han querido invisibilizar.<br \/>\nPara un patriarcado orientado sobre todo hacia la juventud, convertirse en mujer mayor es convertirse en alguien invisible, en una no-entidad. Pero desde una visi\u00f3n\u00a0\u201carquet\u00edpica\u201d esta etapa es una \u00e9poca de plenitud e integraci\u00f3n personal, en la cual nuestros actos devengan la expresi\u00f3n de nuestra identidad m\u00e1s profunda. Es la puerta de entrada a la sabidur\u00eda, el poder y la libertad.<\/p>\n<p>La pulsi\u00f3n de asumir la propia libertad, la acci\u00f3n \u00e9tica de abrir camino, esto supone reafirmar la visibilizaci\u00f3n de la posici\u00f3n de la mujer por medio lo evitado, lo evocado, lo repetido, lo prohibido-deseado.<\/p>\n<p>Marcela Jard\u00f3n. Texto para la Instalaci\u00f3n \u201cMuda\u201d en Mostra\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/femartmostra.org\/discola-menopausa-politica-radical-2013\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">FEMART 2013<\/a>, a la Sala d\u2019Exposicions de Ca la Dona, Barcelona.<\/p>\n<p>\u2026\u2026\u2026\u2026\u2026\u2026\u2026\u2026\u2026\u2026\u2026\u2026\u2026\u2026\u2026\u2026\u2026\u2026\u2026\u2026\u2026\u2026\u2026\u2026\u2026\u2026..<\/p>\n<p><em>\u201cThe interest of representing this idea symbolically and metaphorically with a snake skin implies the intention of adopting a means of making visible a repeated process of death and rebirth such as menopause.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>The menopausal period means an end, but it also offers the expansive freedom of new beginnings.<\/em><br \/>\n<em>In the multiplicity of roles that women assume by mandate, they leave many skins in their path, but they are reborn and become powerful. In the same way that the snake is moulting its skin, to renew itself, to be another and the same, in its walk it leaves a mark, a \u201cwriting made with its body\u201d.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>I have taken the image of the snake, (feared in some cultures and worshiped in others) in defense of Lilith, the snake woman, who knows the secrets, tempting the new mother of humanity (according to the traditional religious version). In reality, the supposed fall in sin is the argument that the patriarchate invents to subdue the woman, through the tool of shameful guilt. I think humanity does not suffer for possessing knowledge but for lack of it. In front of the woman dominated and subdued by Man and her God, the indomitable Lilith revolts, claiming her equality and freedom. When she is denied Lilith abandons her rulers and wanders seeking a power and knowledge that redeems her. It is the reflection in solitude that awakens her and activates her heart.<\/em><br \/>\n<em>To start the search for knowledge.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>The Lilith not as a symbol of evil, but as the possessor of a wisdom that they wanted to make invisible.<\/em><br \/>\n<em>For a patriarchate oriented especially towards youth, becoming an older woman is becoming an invisible person, a non-entity. But from an \u201carchetypal\u201d vision, this stage is a time of fullness and personal integration, in which our actions become the expression of our deepest identity. It is the gateway to wisdom, power and freedom.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>The drive to assume one\u2019s own freedom, the ethical action of paving the way, this means reaffirming the visibility of the woman\u2019s position through the avoided, the evoked, the repeated, the forbidden-desired.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>Marcela Jard\u00f3n.
